Making a booking for the holiday house in Rabka Zdroj, Poland constitutes acceptance of our terms and conditions listed below:

1.a The contract entered into is between Christina Booth and the person making the booking.
1.b The contract is not effective until the booking form full payment has been received and confirmation sent to the hirer.

2.1 Bookings cannot be accepted from young people under the legal age of 18

2.2 The maximum number of people occupying this self-catering holiday let must not exceed the maximum agreed with the owner which is 10 adults. We may allow up to an additional 2 babies.

2.3 The person who makes the booking and signs the booking form will be responsible for all persons included in the booking and should ensure that they are aware of the booking conditions, especially that no liability is accepted for any loss, damage, illness or injury however caused, during the holiday, to any of the guests, their property, or any car or contents. Guests should ensure that they have travel insurance and form E111 (if arriving from Great Britain).

2.4 Christina Booth reserves the right to decline any booking or refuse to hand over a key to any person who has not complied with the booking terms and conditions.

3.a Check that the house is available by either looking at the online availability calendar or contacting us by phone or email.
3.3 Complete all parts of the booking form
3.3a. Send the completed form together with a deposit of £100 to the address shown on the form. Please make this cheque payable to Christina Booth. Deposits for Christmas and New Year are 50% of the rental with balance payable 3 months in advance.
3.3b. Pay the balance of the holiday and refundable damage deposit 6 weeks before the holiday is due to start (we do not send reminders out) or 3 months before arrival if for Christmas or New Year.
3.4 Any bookings made within 6 weeks of the start of the holiday require full payment at the time of booking, or within 3 months of arrival if for Christmas or New Year.
3.5 A refundable damage deposit of £200 is also required with the balance. This money will be returned subject to confirmation by the cleaner that the Holiday House has not suffered any damage and has been left in a good tidy condition. We reserve the right to withhold payment for use of the Internet phone. Calls to the UK work out about 3p per minute.

4.a Once a booking has been confirmed by us by email, the hirer is responsible for the total cost of the holiday if it is within 6 weeks of the holiday (3 months if for a Christmas or New Year let) unless we are able to re let in that time minus any processing charges. It is recommended that travel insurance to be taken out to cover any risks resulting in not being able to take up the holiday. UK holidaymakers should also ensure that they are in possession of Form E111 (for Brits only) in case of illness abroad.

5.a Please contact us should there be may changes to the persons named on the booking form.

6.a The Hirer agrees that he/she are responsible for ensuring that the property or adjoining properties are not damaged by any people named on the booking form. Plus:
6.b. To be responsible for leaving the house in good order and tidy condition otherwise a charge will be levied from the damage deposit. A charge will also be applied for any excessive cleaning or stains to carpets and rugs.
6.c. To pay for any damage however caused excluding reasonable wear and tear incurred during the holiday.
6.d To allow reasonable access to the property by the housekeeper if it is unfortunately deemed necessary
6.e If in my opinion (Christina Booth) I consider the behaviour of any person unsuitable to continue their stay in the house because of unreasonable behaviour damage or nuisance to other parties, the contract may treated by the owner as discharged and the owner may possess the property immediately. The hirer will remain liable for the whole cost of hire and no refund will be due.
6.f Smoking is not permitted inside the house. There are several balconies under cover where you are able to smoke (every bedroom has access to a balcony).

Occupancy shall be from 4pm on the day of arrival to 10 am on the day of departure, unless special arrangements have been made. (The housekeeper has a limited time to prepare the property for the next guests and you are asked to respect this). We will try to be as flexible as possible for people arriving from abroad and fit in with flight times, bookings permitting. This must be arranged at time of booking.

The Holiday House is not suitable for dogs or other pets.

9.a Whilst I make every effort to ensure the accuracy of descriptions, these are inevitably subjective and are for guidance only. If there are any points of particular importance please contact me to clarify information.
9.b Whilst I has taken all responsible steps to ensure that the information contained in the websites and advertising literature is accurate, I reserve the right to alter, substitute or withdraw any service, facilities or amenity.
9.c I appreciate that one of the reasons for holidays in Rabka are skiing. Although the winter season is considered as running from the end of December to the end of March, snow cannot be guaranteed.

10.a I cannot accept responsibility for any material loss, damage, additional expense or inconvenience directly or indirectly caused by or arising out of the property, its plumbing, heating, electrical appliances or services or exceptional weather. Please note that there are spectacular thunderstorms during hot weather periods in this area.
10.b No responsibility is accepted for loss or damage of property, vehicles or vehicle contents belonging to the hirer or any member of their group listed on the booking form during their stay at the house.

11.a If you feel that there are grounds for complaint, it is the duty of the hirer to take it up with myself, Christina Booth, immediately or as soon as reasonably possible and in any event before departure to allow remedial action to be taken.
11.b It is specifically agreed that failure by the hirer to notify myself of any complaint in accordance with the timescale set out in clause 11a will entitle me to reject the complaint, irrespective of its merits. If you have a complaint, I need to know when it happens not 3 weeks after your holiday!
