These prices were obtained from one beauty salon in Rabka Zdroj in August 2006 as an indication of possible costs. The pound and dollar have fallen against the zloty in the last couple of years so that Poland is no longer as cheap as it was for visitors from the UK or United States.

Massage prices in Rabka in 2010 were around 65 loty for an hour's aromatherapy massage.

Eating out is good value with even gourmet meals costing less than £15 a head, and pub meals as low as about 32.00 and that's with a drink. You can be exceedingly pampered, visit new places and experience a different culture for a fantastic holiday to remember.

For a fun night and perfect for hen party weekends come for Andrzejki or St Andrew's day on the 30th of November for a long established tradition of fortune telling for single girls when others in your group predict the kind of married life you're expected to have. Absolute nonsense which includes pouring melted wax into cold water to interpret the results, but great fun. Restaurants host special Andrzejki dinners for this event and provide a resident fortune teller.
